「できるかな」の番組の中で紹介されていた段ボールなどを使ったさまざまな工作は誰が考えていたのでしょうか？
ノッポさん：
これはもう本当の専門家たちが考えていました。名前を挙げるなら枝常弘（えだつねひろし）さんという方が造形の主任という形で最初から終わりまで手がけていて、その下に芸大の方や大学の助教授・教授になったような方といった造形の専門家が6人くらいいました。だからとてもぜいたくです。
G：
ではその人たちが毎日作り続けていたということなのでしょうか。
ノッポさん：
みんなが毎週5つか6つのアイディアを持ち寄るから、単純に計算して30ですよね。その内から1本撮るために必要な5つくらいをみんなで相談して「これとこれとこれを使おう」って出して。あとの25個はお蔵入りです。
次の週はまた違うテーマになりますから、お蔵入りしたアイディアは使わない。「できるかな」はあれだけ続きましたけど、世の中は移り変わるから、前の年に出したアイディアを次の年に持ってくると「勉強が足りない」って言われてしまいます。そのくらいちゃんとしてました。
G：
つまり本当に専門家たちが集まって作ったものの中でも上澄みだけを使っていたということですね。
ノッポさん：
そういうことです。もう本当にぜいたくな作りです。今そんなことはあまりやってないと思いますけど。そういう風にやってました。これは本当に皆さんに知っておいてもらいたいです。
G：
なるほど。私も子どものころ何気なく見ていたのですが、そんな苦労の元に作られていたとは知りませんでした。
ノッポさん：
そう。見る側は何気なくでしょうけど、それは作り手としては当たり前のことです。
